Templates
Numsolar can dynamically create and share PDF documents, that are based on your templates.
What is a template in Numsolar?
Template is a superset to HTML that can access Numsolar information.
Following information is available:
- Client contact information
- Associated manager contact info
- Your organisation details and images / pdfs
- Client's house details (house photos, number of roofs, area, footprint, tilts, azimuths)
- Client's installation details (equipment, services)
- Client's quote details (costs, subtotals, moms, subsidies, discounts)
- Installation simulation parameters (generation, consumption, battery, grid, electric car, panels)

What can I do with it?
Templates are used to present any information from Numsolar as PDFs (and soon as a spreadsheets also)
Here are some example templates and their use cases:
- Providing quotes. (prices, savings, energy usage etc. )
- List of materials (panels, mounting, racks, batteries, inverters, ...)
- Blueprints of the installations (drawings of the roofs, panels coordinates, etc.)
- You can merge templates with the existing PDF files from your equipments, services, packages in any order and quantity.
Can I modify the template?
Yes, there is a template editor in Numsolar.
On top of that:
- It uses Tailwind CSS for the styling
- Template consists of multiple segments that you can edit separately
- You can use an existing library of segments to fasten template creation
Where do I start?
Templates are available for every registered organisation in Numsolar!
Here are the steps to create your new template:
- First step to create a template in numsolar would be to register an account
- Second step to navigate to the template section in Numsolar dashboard
- Third select or create new template
