Numsolar can dynamically create and share PDF documents, that are based on your templates.

What is a template in Numsolar?

Template is a superset to HTML that can access Numsolar information. Following information is available:
  • Client contact information
  • Associated manager contact info
  • Your organisation details and images / pdfs
  • Client's house details (house photos, number of roofs, area, footprint, tilts, azimuths)
  • Client's installation details (equipment, services)
  • Client's quote details (costs, subtotals, moms, subsidies, discounts)
  • Installation simulation parameters (generation, consumption, battery, grid, electric car, panels)

What can I do with it?

Templates are used to present any information from Numsolar as PDFs (and soon as a spreadsheets also) Here are some example templates and their use cases:
  • Providing quotes. (prices, savings, energy usage etc. )
  • List of materials (panels, mounting, racks, batteries, inverters, ...)
  • Blueprints of the installations (drawings of the roofs, panels coordinates, etc.)
  • You can merge templates with the existing PDF files from your equipments, services, packages in any order and quantity.

Can I modify the template?

Yes, there is a template editor in Numsolar. On top of that:
  • It uses Tailwind CSS for the styling
  • Template consists of multiple segments that you can edit separately
  • You can use an existing library of segments to fasten template creation
