1. Who provides the service
numsolar.com and the free solar estimate at numsolar.com/configure (the "Service") are provided by Enskild Firma Milkevich Valiantsin, e-mail contact@numsolar.com ("Numsolar", "we"). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you use Numsolar as a user at a company with an account, the terms for companies apply to your account; if your company is listed in our installer comparison or directory, the listing terms for installers also apply.
2. What the Service is
The Service lets you enter an address and receive an automatically produced estimate of a solar installation on that building: a 3D roof reconstructed from satellite imagery with the help of an AI model, a suggested panel layout, estimated production, savings and payback, an indicative price, and — where installers are listed in your area — price cards from those installers and the possibility to send them your request. The Service is free for homeowners.
3. It is an estimate, not an offer
- The roof is reconstructed from satellite imagery by software and an AI model. It can be wrong: planes, pitch, obstacles, trees, shading and usable area may differ from your real roof. Check and correct it, and always have an installer verify it on site.
- Production, savings and payback are calculated from solar irradiation for your area, your inputs and electricity prices of the last twelve months. Real outcomes depend on your roof, equipment, usage, future prices and weather.
- Snow and wind load values come from load-zone maps and are input for the installer, not a structural calculation.
- A "typical price" is indicative. An installer's price card is based on that installer's published prices for a system like yours and is indicative until the installer has confirmed it; it is not a binding offer.
- Nothing in the Service is advice on whether you should buy a solar installation, and the Service does not replace a quote or a contract from an installer.
4. Installers are independent
Installers shown in the Service are independent companies. Any quote, contract, installation, warranty or payment is between you and the installer. Numsolar is not a party to that relationship, does not perform installations and does not guarantee that an installer will reply, offer a price, or deliver. When you send a request to an installer with your consent, the installer receives your details and becomes responsible for them; see the privacy policy.
Companies shown as "not verified / not a Numsolar partner" are listed from public sources and have not joined Numsolar; we show public facts about them and cannot vouch for them.
5. Your link, sharing and client links
Your estimate lives at a private URL. Anyone with the link can open and edit the estimate. Keep it to yourself if you do not want others to see it. We may delete estimates after the periods set out in the privacy policy; a deleted link simply starts a fresh estimate.
If you choose "Share your result", a read-only page without your address is created that you can pass on. You can turn sharing off at any time.
If you received a client link (numsolar.com/i/…) from an installer, the estimate shows only that installer and its price, and a request goes only there. The installer is responsible for having your permission to send you the link.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for your own, or your household's, genuine interest in solar power. You may not
- use automated tools, scripts or bulk requests to run estimates, look up addresses or send requests;
- enter addresses or contact details of other people without their permission, or send requests on their behalf;
- upload images you do not have the right to use, or that show other people or other people's property (the own-image upload is for your own building, photographed from above);
- try to bypass rate limits, quotas, e-mail confirmations or bot checks, or interfere with the Service.
The Service runs AI analyses that cost us money per run, so it is rate-limited per visitor and has a daily quota. We may refuse, limit or stop service to anyone who misuses it.
7. Content and intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, texts and the roof reconstruction and calculation methods belong to Numsolar or its licensors. Your inputs and edits remain yours. You give us the right to process them to provide the Service, to keep a roof model per building for later visitors (without your inputs, as described in the privacy policy), and to use anonymous statistics to improve the Service. Map imagery is provided by Google under Google's terms. Country detection uses data from DB-IP (CC BY 4.0).
8. Availability and changes
The Service is provided free of charge and "as is". We may change, suspend or discontinue it, or any part of it, at any time, and we do not promise that it is available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. When demand is high, new estimates may be queued or paused until the next day.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by Swedish law, Numsolar is not liable for decisions you take based on the Service, for the accuracy of any estimate or price, for the conduct of any installer, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including your rights as a consumer, or liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Personal data and cookies
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version and date are shown at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms; if you do not, stop using the Service.
12. Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts. If you are a consumer you may also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se, to your municipal consumer adviser, or to the EU's online dispute platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
